It still doesn't mean that Resolve support would not be welcome. ffv1 uses fairly complex math and its decompression costs a lot of CPU. Have you tested CPU usage when playing back ffv1 4K files? Good lossless compression doesn't come for free. Problem is that you may always need to convert ffv1 for further work. DaVinci Resolve has been updated to DaVinci Resolve 17 and has added many new video formats support, but no version of DaVinci Resolve supports to edit MKV file format.
